CSR Policy and Framework
We have adopted our Corporate Philosophy: Establish a sustainable society for people to live with peace of mind, providing worthwhile structures and services. This means that our mission is to build a sustainable future by contributing to local communities and the environment through structures and services we provide. I believe that it is our approach to sustainability itself.
Under this Corporate Philosophy, we have adopted a sustainability slogan (basic policy): Create together, shine together. This reflects our desire to build a sustainable society as we look ahead to 2050, which is expressed as: We strive to realize a society where everyone can shine by thoughtfully connecting people, communities, and nature, and creating vibrant spaces for all.
To achieve our goal of building a sustainable society, we have identified six key issues (materiality) that we should address. We will focus on initiatives such as considering environmental problems in our business activities and securing and developing human resources as the core element of our management foundation. We will also pursue initiatives to better practice sustainability management, such as reflecting materiality in our management strategy and instilling awareness of sustainability in each employee. We will thus push forward with activities for the co-creation of value, which will help build a sustainable society.
